One of the first and most important educational institutions was the Grammar School Gradiška, founded in 1923.

Today, there are 7 primary schools with over 3,350 students and 3 secondary schools with over 1,350 students. The Music School and the Special School for Persons with Developmental Disabilities are also part of the city’s educational system.

The educational system includes compulsory primary and secondary education, as well as English language education starting from the third grade of primary school.
